Jeff Masters – The Shape Shifter Posted: 29 Dec 2010 08:04 AM PST In 2007, he blamed the late, warm winter on a lack of polar ice. Now he blames the cold, early, snowy, winter on a lack of polar ice. "If you say it's going to be warmer than normal, you're almost always right these days," said Dr. Jeff Masters, director of meteorology for weatherunderground.com. |
Posted: 29 Dec 2010 07:58 AM PST The New York Times is self-destructing on Global Warming. Once again, Climate Change alarmists blame winter weather on Global Warming. What is interesting in this New York Times op-ed is that the author (Judah Cohen) knocks the underpinning of climate change alarmism right out from under the whole movement: |
Posted: 29 Dec 2010 07:33 AM PST Will Republicans (and a few closet Democrats) put the squeeze on the EPA's new self-annointed powers? From Reuters:

You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows Posted: 29 Dec 2010 07:20 AM PST This is the season for quizzes. So fingers on buzzers, here's your starter for ten. In percentage terms, how much electricity do Britain's 3,150 wind turbines supply to the National Grid? Is it: a) five per cent; b) ten per cent; or c) 20 per cent? Come on, I'm going to have to hurry you. No conferring. Time's up. The correct answer is: none of the above. Yesterday afternoon, the figure was just 1.6 per cent, according to the official website of the wholesale electricity market. |
No proof man causes global warming Posted: 29 Dec 2010 07:14 AM PST International climate negotiations collapsed in December 2009 in Copenhagen (soon dubbed "Flopnhagen") - and the just-completed round in Cancun, Mexico, achieved little. Basically, the public no longer trusts the science being dispensed by the United Nations. Also, major developing countries, including China and India, refuse to sacrifice economic growth for an uncertain goal. |
Climate Depot’s Morano on Fox News Mocking ‘Climate Astrology’ Posted: 29 Dec 2010 07:12 AM PST Morano: 'There is no way anyone can falsify the global warming theory now because any weather event that happens 'proves' their case…Man-made global warming has ceased to be a science, it is now the level of your daily horoscope'—Gore [in 2006 film] did not warn us of extreme blizzards and record cold winters coming' {youtube}uYgPEdW6Wdw{/youtube} |
Defending My Findings on Global Warming/Climate Change Posted: 29 Dec 2010 07:07 AM PST There are those who are quick to question my findings that refute Global Warming/Climate Change. However, in my research I thoroughly check every claim made who promote this propaganda, and find each claim and finding in support of Global Warming/Climate Change to be totally false and misleading. It takes a lot of detective work in separating false information from the actual facts, but the evidence is there for anyone who cares to spend the time and effort in finding it. |
The Obama administration has hidden surprises in store for you Posted: 29 Dec 2010 07:02 AM PST "My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government," the newly inaugurated President Obama declared in a memo to department and agency heads in January 2009. "Government should be transparent. Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing." How's that working in practice? |
2010 Award for Political Incorrectness: Global warming lands into the deep freeze Posted: 29 Dec 2010 06:58 AM PST During the waning days of December I often find myself desperate for comic relief from the hum-drum routines of life. In recent days I happened upon these mirthful headlines: – "New Zealand Climate Scientists Admit To Faking Temperatures: The Actual Temps Show Little Warming Over Last 50 Years" – "What Happened to the 'Warmest Year on Record': The Truth is Global Warming has Halted" |
Obama Will Make You Pay More at the Pump Posted: 29 Dec 2010 06:53 AM PST "What do you say to people who are losing patience with gas prices at $3 a gallon? And how much of a political price do you think you're paying for that, right now?" This was a question asked of the president at a press conference in August…of 2006. The president was George W. Bush. In fact, it was a question that was asked in one way or another regularly during the entire eight years of the Bush presidency, regardless of where energy prices stood at that moment. |
If Global Warming Causes Snow, Do We Still Need to Paint Our Roofs White? Posted: 29 Dec 2010 06:51 AM PST James Taranto responds to this op-ed that claims global warming causes snow:
