Amongst the latest cars which are introduced in the market, Ford has decided to come up with the latest Focus in the year 2012. This will have a tall-body compact look much like the Kia Rondo and Mazda 5. Focus will feature two sliding side doors and three rows of seating with room enough for seven people at a time. This elegant car will have a prominent two-tier grille, trapezoidal headlamps, creased lower-body lines, muscular wheel-arch bulges, and a tapered hoodline.

After speaking to a few friends, I started to consider the Ford Kuga. Whilst a compact SUV sounded a little daunting, I found that it wasn't as imposing as I had first imagined. Maybe it's the fact that it really does manage to be compact whilst still remaining spacious, or maybe it's due to the rather commendable design that means the Kuga looks like a luxury vehicle that's been given the inner workings of an all-terrain trooper.

 

The two new features that are expected to be included in the 2010 Kuga model will be start and stop system and mpg boosting power shift twin clutch automatic transmission. The other features that are expected to be provided in the next generation compact variant include the front grille units, revised taillights and head lights, and LED units. The new power train to the model will be the 2.5 liter 5-cylinder turbo charged engine that can produce power up to 147 kilo watts and torque of 236 lb ft. The top speed of the 2010 Ford Kuga is expected to be 208 kilo meters per hour.

Whilst I wanted a larger car that could handle the daily grind without having hysterics when confronted with rougher terrain, I needed a model that would not only be affordable to purchase but economical to run.

Ford introduced the Sync system several years ago that could use voice commands for the radio, iPod, and other entertainment, but this MyFordTouch takes everything to a much higher level. Sync offered about 100 voice command options. MyFordTouch offers about 10,000 voice options.

The Edge was first introduced by Ford back in 2007 and has sold over 400,000. This 2011 model is the first significant update. The interior has been upgraded, the exterior is all redesigned, and the My-Touch electronics are almost mind-blowing. There is less weight, more power, and the improved quality is noticeable.

 

Ford says that the 2011 Edge's shocks, springs and stabilizer bars have been modified to tighten handling. An important characteristic are the shock's high-flow piston, allowing engineers to tune for both road loads and driving dynamics, without taking away from handling or ride.
