Getting to and from your destination often accounts for a good chunk of any trip, and Chrysler must have had this in mind when incorporating a slew of new and improved interior entertainment features. GPS, MP3 connectivity, satellite radio, a UConnect hands-free system and 30 gigs worth of storage-the Patriot's added bonuses make the road seem a little less long.

The Patriot certainly lives up to its Jeep heritage and receives plenty of accolades as being an authentic off-road vehicle. Our test model was a distinctive lime-green color that was easy to spot in a crowd of cars. It was very comfortable on the highway and on several short road trips. Judy commented about how attractive and functional the interior was for the driver and passengers. This is not a luxury vehicle, but it is very road-worthy and useful for day-to-day purposes. There have been repeated complaints about the rear seats not being very comfortable, although we never did try them out ourselves.
