Has scaring children or your constituents ever worked in the past? Hmm...no. From Politico:

Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) penned a letter to Old Saint Nick to highlight the "dramatic melting of the Artic sea ice."

"I am worried about your safety and your ability to deliver billions of Christmas gifts if the ice cap on the North Pole no longer stays frozen all year," wrote Menendez. "What will happen to your house, your workshop, the elves' houses and your reindeer barns?"

New Zealand Climate Scientists Admit To Faking Temperatures: The Actual Temps Show Little Warming Over Last 50 Years

Cartoon_-_Climate_Science

Read here and here. Climate "scientists" across the world have been blatantly fabricating temperatures in hopes of convincing the public and politicians that modern global warming is unprecedented and accelerating.

The scientists doing the fabrication are usually employed by the government agencies or universities, which thrive and exist on taxpayer research dollars dedicated to global warming research. A classic example of this is the New Zealand climate agency, which is now admitting their scientists produced bogus "warming" temperatures for New Zealand.

A special Christmas parody of "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch."

You're a jailbird, Mr. Hansen.
You really have a lock on fear.
You're as cuddly as a glacier,
And just as scary in your zeal.
Mr. Hansen.

You love misbehaving tree-rings
With datasets unreal!

The Environmental Protection Agency unveiled a schedule Thursday for setting greenhouse gas standards for power plants and oil refineries, paving the way for requirements that can be applied to existing facilities.

While EPA is pledging a "common-sense" approach, the move is likely to escalate a battle between the Obama administration and Republicans, who allege that climate regulations will hurt the economy and are pledging to block them on Capitol Hill.

Obama's Good News is Bad News

Watching President Obama turn his bad news into good news at his press conference and then reading the mainstream media turn facts upside down and inside out was, at best, bizarre.

Global Cooling Puts Green Jobs On Ice

Talk about an inconvenient truth. The record winter blasting across Europe is freezing demand for products that are supposed to lower heat emissions, reduce energy, and "save" the earth.

The big chill is also causing U.S. jobs cooked up through millions of dollars in federal swindle-us spending to disappear like snowmen in spring.

The Abiding Faith Of Warm-ongers

Nothing makes fools of more people than trying to predict the weather. Whether in Los Angeles or London, recent predictions have gone crazily awry. Global warming? How about mini ice age?

The sight of confused and angry travelers stuck in airports across Europe because of an arctic freeze that has settled across the continent isn't funny. Sadly, they've been told for more than a decade now that such a thing was an impossibility — that global warming was inevitable, and couldn't be reversed.

Climate Change Extremism Is Doing Its Job

morugreenpeaceprotest

"Stephen Dorling, of the University of East Anglia's school of environmental sciences, said it was not surprising the cold period raised questions over climate change - but the snowy weather should not be used as evidence against it."

When scrambling to explain all the cold weather people only expose their ignorance of climate science. They also, fortunately, produce statements that, even those who don't understand the science, see as illogical. Notice Dorling says "climate change" as he tries to suggest the current cold is just an anomaly in an overall warming trend. Others point to storms and flooding as further evidence of changes due to warming.

Tide of opinion is freezing for climate changers

Ho...ho...hoHo. ho. ho.

IT'S A good thing for children around the world Father Christmas doesn't rely on the British Met office for his weather forecasts.

Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer would be all grounded somewhere north of Heathrow and all the presents would be mothballed until next year.

The Who had it right.  Meet the new boss … same as the old boss:

The Obama administration is sticking with a George W. Bush-era decision to deny polar bears endangered species status.

In a court filing Wednesday, the Fish and Wildlife Service defended the previous administration's decision to give the polar bear the less-protective "threatened" species designation, a move that will frustrate environmentalists who hoped for stronger protections under the Endangered Species Act. …

Global Warming to Dump More Snow on Britain

From the Daily Express:

BRITAIN faces a deep-frozen Christmas as more snow sweeps in.

Forecasters say there is a risk of snow in the far South-east today and tomorrow and snow flurries in the East on Christmas Day.

And there could be heavy snow with blizzard conditions in Northern Ireland on Boxing Day evening and in the far West of England, Wales and Scotland on Monday as milder weather fronts collide with the cold air over the UK.
